SIck New Hybrid Digital/Analog Reverb Ready

Czech effects developer Audified are making a brash and bold step into the hardware market with an absolutely stunning hybrid reverb and saturation unit. The reverb uses 24bit A/D conversion and 32bit floating point DSP with seven, selectable algorithms whilst the analog saturator with J-Fet, OpAmp and Germanium flavors promises to be stunning as Audified have already proven their pedigree in this area with their U78 saturator plugin. This extremely useful combination of reverb and coloration will broaden the production and mix pallette very nicely

and no doubt be very popular with both electronic and Nu-Dub producers as well as mix engineers – thanks to the hybrids functionality which allows the user to be able to mix and blend seamlessly between the two. With Decay, Pre-Delay, Color, Type, a Preset Selector, Gain and a Mix control for each module (all available on the hardware front panel) the rest of the controls can be found on the well laid out GUI. Yes, the Synergy R1 is also a VST, AU and AAX compatible plugin, although Audified like to call the plugin the Synergy’s ‘remote control’.

Designed by Czech composer/producer Boris Carloff (the man behind the U-78 Saturator) Synergy promises to add a little pizzazz to the API 500 ‘lunchbox’ game when it appears mid September, thanks to the ability to use multiple control plugins across your tracks and returns. With full project recall, and a complete set of DAW automatable features as well as AAX, AU, VST2, and VST3 support this is a huge step forward for the modern producer. Hardware that talks to your project. Expect to see a lot more of these hybrid analog/DSP solutions in the next few years.
