D16 Group releases new Multi-Tap Delay plugin
The ever-interesting Polish plugin developers, D16 Group have always been on the leading edge of sound design with their Nu-Vintage product lines. The Tekturon is a multitap-delay effect with 16 independent, high-quality delay lines which are controlled with what the D16 lads term ‘The Delay Matrix’. In fact, Tekturon can’t be thought of as a tap-delay effect in the classical sense, but more of a sequence of taps equally delayed from each other,
whereby working with the plugin strongly resembles using a step sequencer. Each of the 16 delay lines has its own independent set of parameters providing complete control over: the overall delay loop, panning and stereo spread with the signal itself having a post-tap, multi-mode filter. Global parameters include optional tempo sync, tap and and a swing effect for nailing the overall feel and groove of your sonic creation.
