Acustica Audio Channel Strip Gets Update
Acustica Audio have updated one of our favourite plugins to their new CORE X standard. Amethyst is widely accepted to be based on the famous Rupert Neve designed Amek M2500 console equalizer and Amek 9098 compressor. Acustica Audio have added some extra control options that are becoming more familiar to users of their Acqua plugin range including the quirky and incredibly useful SH Mode which helps you sculpt the Attack behaviour of the
compressor. For added user flexibility, Acustica Audio have very thoughtfully split the channel strip into a set of additional Amethyst III modules, allowing the use of individual pieces which gives “a significant saving in terms of CPU”. This means that you can spread that sweet Amethyst love across multiple tracks and busses without hurting your computer’s feelings. The Amethyst bundle includes a Pre, EQ and Compressor.
Amethyst is very competitively priced at $99 USD but if you pre-order right now you will receive an additional 10% discount. Follow this link to their website to cop the deal.
